Mechanical Claims Assessor

What does this role entail?

You'll be responsible for the end to end assessment and management of mechanical and electrical breakdown claims, within approved delegated authority. You'll apply strong technical judgement and policy interpretation to deliver accurate, timely, and consistent decisions - while providing excellent service to customers, workshops, and internal stakeholders.

What do we need from you?

• 5 years minimum in the Automotive Trade/Industry
• Recognised Automotive Trade Qualifications (e.g. NZ Certificate in Automotive Engineering)
• Strong diagnostic and technical capabilities across mechanical and electrical systems
• Confidence using online systems and claims or policy administration platforms
• Articulate with a good verbal and numeracy skills
• You must hold the legal right to work in NZ as defined by NZ Immigration - the role is an immediate start so you need to be living in New Zealand currently.
